New Horizons in Clinical Supervising

Recognizing that clinical supervising is a specialty area of practice, regulatory boards and professional credentialing bodies are moving toward qualifying and certifying clinical supervisors. Earn the necessary continuing education and guided practice in supervising through consultation sessions and workshops.

Dr. Holman has more than 25 years of experience supervising mental health professionals and directing clinical training programs. In addition she has chaired a national committee on establishing standards and credentials for clinical supervisors.

You can receive help in establishing a productive and positive relationship with your supervisee, in identifying learning objectives and assessing learning progress, in managing risk and maintaining practice standards, and in constructing meaning for your supervisee's learning.
